Hey. Don’t blame yourself. She wasn’t always outspoken about her problems. I’ve talked to her about opening up and almost always she wanted to stay shut in. We all did what we can to prove that she has love and support online and we can’t blame ourselves if she ended up deciding to do this. She knew she was loved and I doubt the last thing she wants is for us to blame ourselves for this.

I know this sounds cold, but this is coming from someone who was already going through this before. Sometimes not everyone can be saved and that’s the harsh reality. It sucks and it’s unfair, but it’s the truth.

That doesn’t mean we as a people should give up and lose hope. There are still others who are just like Katie who are in a bad place and who need something to hold onto. Don’t stop loving everyone because we couldn’t reach one person. Don’t give up fighting for them.
