Boy, am I late to the party?! I just learned it now that it was Fanfiction writers appreciation day yesterday. So I’m gonna do a shout out post to the writers I really appreciate now! Better late than never, right?
You know you’re trash when you read “x reader” stuff and you automatically read your name instead of y/n…
I literally cannot do this. My mind always says “Y/N” no matter what. Probably because I’m garbage and don’t deserve to insert myself into any situation with the characters 🤷♀️
I’ve started calling her Yuna😂
Whenever I read it my brain makes it to “Jeyenne” 😂
I honestly just read ‘Y/N’, my mind does not allow me to read my own name.
Yeah I legit read ‘your name’ in my head. I never insert my actual name lmao.
I sometimes have to pay for water, but with a phone and some wifi, I get to read whole novels about my favorite characters for exactly zero additional dollars

Hi! I write both! I haven’t written an original story in a long while, but I have in the past. Right now it’s all fics.
Right now all my current fics are Game of Thrones, but as soon as I am done watching Cult, I have an idea for a Kai fic I wanna do, plus @dropsofkink requested a Kai fic from me as well.
Other fandoms I would feel comfortable writing for would be Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Riverdale! 🙂

To those fanfic writers that are not english native speakers: sometimes, when I read your work, I notice that english isn’t your first language, because there are strange phrases. I know immediately that to you, they are perfectly normal, since it’s the way your language describes things. And I love that, because here you go, creating your art, in a language you spent so much time learning, just so that other people can enjoy your stories! It is so amazing and I will never criticise you for that, but instead I will be thankful that you put in all the effort.
I love you all, you are amazing. Keep creating, please!
Writing is hard. Writing in a language that is not your native tongue is even harder. I love and respect the hell out of you all!
@everyone who reads a multichapter fic and comments on each individual chapter (rather than commenting just once at the end) so the author can see you read through to individual events with changing thoughts and reactions: i would kill a man for you.
