I donât really think itâs Ryan that doesnât show Evan the appreciation. Everyone Evan works with always holds him and his talent in the highest regards. The fault falls on the audience as well as whoeverâs view âmattersâ in Hollywood.
Sarah has won two Emmy awards (as far as I know) for the show, meanwhile Evan has yet to even be nominated. But Leonardo DiCaprio didnât get his Oscar until 2016. Sometimes these things take time, but eventually Evan will get the recognition that he deserves, and everyone will realize how long heâs deserved it.
I agree. Heâs a trailblazer in the industry.
He definitely should have gotten one for Cult. The fact that he didnât is like a slap in the face. Not only did he play SEVEN different characters, he also played 4, yes FOUR, different versions of Kai: blue-haired Kai that we saw most of the season, short-brown-haired âsmol beanâ Kai, long-brown-haired transitional Kai where he is between his smol self and his angry self, and then hardened-prison Kai. Each phase was different and Evan pulled them all off flawlessly.
