You always tried your best to support James in all his endeavors, and you were more than happy for him that he had finally found someone to continue his work. But you couldn’t hide the fact that you were beginning to grow lonely in his absence. Almost all his time was spent with John now, leaving you either alone, or at the bar with Liz. You told him of your dismay, and he was immediately remorseful, promising you a wonderful, extravagant date night, and that he would be certain to start giving you more attention.

Despite these promises, you found yourself alone at the bar on your date night. You had donned your loveliest dress, did your makeup without a single flaw, and you were convinced that your hair had never looked so fabulous. You quickly realized that it was all for naught, as you drank down your second martini, whilst venting to Liz.
